Welcome to the first annual Run Like The Wind Running Festival! In collaboration with Puget Sound Energy, Wild Horse Wind and Solar Facility and Run for Good Racing Company we present to you a Saturday 5K and Half Marathon and a Sunday 10K and Marathon, woven along the trails, paths and roads of the majestic wind turbines outside of Ellensburg.

These races will be challenging but gorgeous with views of Mt. Rainier, the Columbia River and the Eastern Washington plains.
Get a guided tour of the wind farm either before or after your race and see the awesome power of the wind.

Facility tours each day at 9:00am, 9:15am, 10:45am, 11:15 and 11:45am and 3:00pm on Sunday

Space is limited to 300 participants each day so sign up now and get your wind on! Price includes a gorgeous, fully supported run or walk, a finish line party with food and drink, a tour of the wind turbines either before or after your event, a commemorative shirt and a fun finish line surprise. Tech shirts are an optional upgrade for an extra $10.

5K - $25
10K - $35
Half Marathon - $45
Full Marathon - $60

If not sold out, day-of race prices will be $10 more for each event.

When you register you can sign up for a free facility tour and get yourself inside a turbine to see where the magic happens. Tours are about 35-45 minutes and can be reserved either before or after your event. Please sign up for a tour so we know how many to plan for.
